Frallo Butcher’s Cuts, gouache, 2025.
Bespoke mural for Frallo Steakhouse in Houghton-le-Spring. The design was painted entirely by hand. To facilitate the large scale of the design, it was scanned in small segments and pieced together digitally. Once the artwork was complete, it was printed on premium 350gsm silk-vista wallpaper before being installed.
Typology Prints, gouache, 2024.
A series of illustrations exploring social perceptions of different species, using colour and texture to highlight the beauty of organisms not typically depicted in artistic media.
Meadows Wallpaper, gouache, 2025.
Recently, I have developed my own line of soft furnishings and wallpapers, which are available on my website. The debut collection, BRITANNIA, was created in response to ethno-nationalism, within the British socio-political landscape. The goal of the collection is to celebrate British identity as something that comes from shared culture and history, which anyone can interact with.
Meadows is a half drop repeat wallpaper, making use of textured watercolour washes to depict quintessential rolling British hillsides.
English Ivy in Off-white, gouache, 2025.
Deciduous Leaves of Britain, gouache, 2025.
Her Majesty and The Knight, gouache, 2025.
A pair of cushions depicting a lioness and a unicorn, the national animals of England and Scotland, respectively. When developing the concept behind the collection, I knew I wanted to highlight British history. A large part of the research process was looking at medieval heraldry, as not only is it decorative, but it is also used to denote clans historically within the Uk.
The designs were originally painted in acrylic gouache and then printed on brushed twill fabric. Twill was chosen in particular as it is soft and retains the details of the original paintings once the designs have been printed.
Murmurations, gouache, 2026.
A simple pattern repeat consisting of 8 individually painted starlings. The starlings have then been arranged digitally to mimic the natural murmuration patterns they create during migration.
Starling Down, gouache, 2026.
I wanted to challenge myself to create some designs that are looser and more free flowing to my typical work. As a result I experimented with letting my paint bleed, creating textures inspired by animal fur and feather patterns
Overfished, gouache, 2025.
Set of dinner plates, addressing the topic of overfishing in the UK. The plates feature different species of fish that are heavily impacted by the practice. As plates are taken from the stack, the number of fish on the plates diminishes, depicting how unsustainability can ravage certain populations.
Christmas Cards, gouache, 2025.
Christmas card designs, which were sold at Fenwick Newcastle alongside other artists represented by Jungle Studio talent agency.
Beowulf's Tapestry, gouache, 2025.
A Series of pattern designs inspired by the medieval epic Beowulf. Each pattern is inspired by a different faction in the story and incorporates symbolism from the text, narrative arcs and medieval society.
